About the Center to Advance Digital Physician Practice Transformation (ADAPT)

The experience of practicing clinical medicine has changed markedly over the last decades for physicians. This has resulted in high rates of burnout and intent to leave the workforce.

Healthcare leaders are in urgent need of evidence regarding:

• Changing physician practice patterns 

• How these changes impact clinical care delivery 

• What solutions can optimize the physician experience & clinical care delivery  

Our Vision

• We will advance research and create a community of researchers and leaders interested in physician practice and physician experiences of care delivery. 

• Our work will place particular emphasis on physicians’ interactions with technology and how these interactions shape practice patterns and experiences.
